i'll be on blog leave for a couple of days, hindi ko pa sure kung saan ako pupunta ngayong week but one thing's for sure I'll go somewhere outside of Manila! I have to! i chanced upon these cute photographs on flicker.com. Wala lang nakakatuwa mga bata ang subject cuteeeeeee! by merely looking at the pictures it makes me feel young again! ang sarap maging bata! :p

ooohh.. it's gonna be a long weekend but not for me, nevertheless happy weekend to everyone! enjoy the 3-day long vacation! :D

i just find it soooo weird these past few days, imagine for 5 straight mornings i get up even before the alarm clock goes off (not-so-me! hehe) i'm still wondering why, there must a reason for this hehe. is it because of paulo coehlo and his "the alchemist" book which I'm reading till one in the morning?? ang bago kong pinagkakapuyatan but still hindi ko pa rin tapos (another weird thing.. hmm..parang walang connection) nevertheless good thing i'm no longer the "late-shirleen" (literal meaning). i'll try the best of my best efforts to continue being an early riser.

Aside from seeing the beauty of my country, I found my new therapy in reading (just discovered it few months ago). My full attention is diverted to a pocketbook that I carry everywhere, everyday. Just bought 3 Paulo Coehlo books: the famous-THE ALCHEMIST, VERONIKA DECIDES TO DIE and ELEVEN MINUTES.

I started reading THE ALCHEMIST and I'm on page 53, so far I find the story interesting. Simple yet full of mystery, pointed message (as what an author has commented) and insights on life and dreams. I'm starting to fall in love with the story..with the book. It feels good that I'm in the right track again (I guess), I found a new source of inspiration through Coehlo's works, nothing more nothing less. --- http://www.shelfari.com/miss_scofield

1st times -- TGIF, Saturday opening and cooking with Amay on a Sunday.

Friday, destination: Eastwood City, Libis. For the longest time, I finally found time to go on a "gimik". Thanks to the following people whom I've spent my TGIF night with.

Saturday, it was the opening of 8th RFP Program and for the first time it was held at Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila (sosyal na!) I'm gonna miss UA&P (Ms. Lea, Mang Fred, Ms. Janet, si Kuya na assistant ni Mang Fred at si Kuyang guard na hindi ko alam ang name but he's the nicest guard dun). So far so good but for this batch I think I'll be having a hard time memorizing the names of the participants (basta parang ang hirap nilang ma-recognize o baka naman kasi exhausted lang ako that morning kaya ganon..haay..).

Sunday, Amie went to our house despite her condition (she's kinda sick may ubo sya wawa naman) brought her router. We were online from 12-8pm. For the first time, I cooked for a friend, lunch and dinner hehe! for lunch we had.. rice, chicken (dala ni amay courtesy of Aling Pining's grill haha), kape and aking masterpiece na fried tilapia hehe. For dinner, dahil wala na kaming ulam sa ref kaya scrambled egg with tomato, onion and ketchup na lang ang naisip naming iulam-- light orange na scrambled egg, nun lang daw sya nakakita ng ganong scrambled egg at buti na lang nagustuhan naman nya hehe sana nga lang Amay sa susunod wag mo naman durugin ng ganon yung itlog hindi naman sya giniling hehe. Syempre hindi mawawala yung kape na isasabaw sa kanin..na ngayon eh na-acquire na ni Amie haha! It was 9pm when she left the house.. it was raining.
